A visit to Vale Park is all about enjoying the matchday experience in a safe and welcoming environment. To help fans prepare for their visit, the club sets out clear guidelines on what can—and cannot—be brought into the stadium, and works hard to uphold the highest standards of safety and supporter behaviour.
Every supporter must have a valid match ticket, either printed or as a QR code on their mobile device, ready for scanning at the turnstile. For under-16s, an accompanying adult is required as a condition of entry.
In order to ensure the comfort and safety of all visitors, there are restrictions on items that can be brought into the ground. Only small bags (not exceeding A4 size) are permitted, and all bags may be subject to search by trained stewards upon entry. This is a standard procedure across football grounds and is designed to keep everyone safe.
Certain items are strictly prohibited. Fans are not allowed to bring alcohol, illegal drugs, glass bottles, cans, fireworks, flares, smoke bombs, or any item that could be considered a weapon. Professional recording equipment and large banners are also not permitted without prior approval. Food and drinks purchased outside the stadium are typically not allowed, unless needed for medical reasons (if so, please inform the club in advance). Inside Vale Park, a range of food, soft drinks, and alcoholic beverages (to be consumed in designated areas) are available for purchase.
While in the stadium, fans are expected to behave respectfully towards others, comply with all steward instructions, and refrain from behaviours such as persistent standing in seated areas, aggressive language, hate speech, or discrimination. The club operates a zero-tolerance policy on anti-social behaviour. Any breach of stadium regulations can result in ejection and potential bans from future matches.
Should a supporter receive a stadium ban, there is a formal appeals process that can be initiated by contacting the club’s safety officer in writing.
Vale Park’s priority is always the safety and enjoyment of everyone—families, away fans, and all visitors alike—so please cooperate with staff and fellow fans to keep the atmosphere positive.
